"Into the Blue" Collage

Dive into the depths of the sea with "Into the Blue," a maximalist tribute to the ocean’s hidden treasures. This piece features a collage of shells, where hundreds of hand-picked specimens, including delicate rose petals, sun-bleached coquinas, and majestic scallops, are meticulously layered to create a rich, tactile tapestry.

The centerpiece of this work features two striking shell blooms, where elongated augers are arranged in a sunburst pattern, drawing the eye across a field of sandy pinks, creams, and deep corals. Set against a navy background and encased in a bold black frame, "Into the Blue" is inspired by the dramatic contrast of the colorful shoreline against the dark depths of the deep blue sea.
